| This weekend was awesome! My mixed slo pitch team had our first tournament of the year! It's a bit early in the year to play, and I did have to wear 5 shirts, but it was great! I've been playing ball for as long as I can remember, and get excited every year when spring rolls around. We played 6 games in 2 days! Boy am I sore today!!!! |

We just got back from a short trip to Los Vegas. It was my first time visiting this crazy city! It was lovely to be able to walk around outside without a coat and scarf on! And walk we did. We didn't realize that Los Vegas Blvd was 50 miles long!!!! The casinos are soooooo big it makes it look like a short distance. :) It really was incredible. We went to two shows while we were there: Cirque du soleil, Ka, and Criss Angel, Believe. Both were incredible! During Ka I had to literally remember to close my mouth! It was just so cool! I defiantly want to go to another show! We took a tour to see the great Hoover Dam as well. What a site to see! We'll have to go again to take in the  |

| So today it's "Monica vs. the virus!" Last night my ears started to hurt, then my throat and finally my sinuses. This morning I felt feverish as well. BOOOO. So I went home sick from work and stopped by the local herbalist on the way. I told him my ears hurt and asked if he had any drops that would help, he told me to stick out my tongue, and after a few minutes of inspection told me that it was my liver. So he said, do you want to treat the cause or the symptom? I told him I wanted to treat both! And I left with a bag of ammunition to fight this virus! The Neti Pot is amazing by the way. If you ever have sinus pain, allergies or a cold, I totally recommend it! |

| My friend had her baby yesterday morning! A beautiful baby girl. This is what I've been waiting to share with you! I (with help from my lovely mother) made her a baby swaddling pod! The cotton patterned fabric is from Korea and was bought off etsy |

| Ok, so I know that I said I have no time to craft this week, but my husband was out this evening and I had to keep busy right? So another upcycled necklace was created! I think it turned out quite sweet! The green dangling bead was from one of my late grandmas necklaces that I had taken apart for a different project a while ago and had this bead left over. |

| I have NO time for crafting this week! :( But I do have one finished item that I will post in the near future. It is for a friend's baby, that is yet to be born. So once she has the baby I'll post the item! Stay tuned! |
