Hospice Events

I work at our local Hospice Society and last week we held our annual Charity Golf Tournament at a local Golf & Country Club.   As a non-profit organization we rely on fundraisers like our annual charity golf tournament as well as donations from individuals and organizations to enable us to meet the needs of current and future generations.   With local support and participation we have made an immediate and tangible difference in our community. 

Since golf is now over, I've started planning our upcoming gala (Feb 2012).  I thought I would get a head start on this one!  So why not start planning now?!!??  I've come up with the theme:  Venetian Carnival!  A romantic evening which will be a formal (Black Tie Optional / Mask mandatory!) and extravagant event with an Old World feel.  I'm thinking dark mood lighting, candelabras, Opera music, silk acrobats, fire breathers, men on stilts, tigers in cages.....  I tend to get carried away, but you get the idea!  I LOVE this mask, and think it might have to be the start of my gala 2012 dress!
