I made theses sweet cards last night with my new Critcut Songbird cartridge. The floral paper is by Deena's Penny Lane (my favorite!).

A walk in the park.

I took Roofus for a walk in the park today. What a beautiful day to be at the lake! Sure the signs said no swimming, but you try telling that to a water dog!

Coat rack

If you live in a small space like I do, you understand the need for storage! Our front coat closet was always over stuffed. So I decided to make a coat rack. I started with a 9 1/2" by 18" piece of wood which I stained blue. For the lettering I used my cricut. For the main lettering I used the Opposites Attract cartridge, and for the small lettering I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. After I varnished the piece, my husband attached three vintage inspired hooks!

Olympic fever

Last year my husband entered the lottery for 2 Olympic game tickets. And he got them!!! Not any Olympic game either, men's semi-final ice hockey! So on Friday February 26, 2010 we witnessed Canada winning Olympic semi-finals! What a great game that was. One away from all the way!

I absolutely loved the vibe of Canadian pride that flowed onto the streets after the game that night. People of every colour breaking out in our National anthem? True patriot love indeed!
