One of the best things about living in B.C. is our fruit, and today was spent with my mom and sister making jam! We had a great time slicing, boiling, and pouring. We used my great aunt Anne's recipe which is:
4 cups of fruit (measured after it has been boiled) 2 tbs white vinegar - boil for 4 min. 4 cups of white sugar - boil for 7 min. pour into jars and seal
In total we turned out 38 jars of apricot and 12 jars of strawberry.
